the great white
(and blue) north stairway
The main star of our first official Canadian project: a modern Toronto townhome with a love for tradition, think antique accents, ginger jars, and timeless charm. This striking floral Scalamandre wallpaper climbs the stairway like a modern vine to the calming blue master suite upstairs, blooming across every floor and anchoring the space with true northern elegance. It’s the perfect backdrop for heirlooms collected over a lifetime . A story told with both pattern and polish.

"Moving into a modern townhome after years of living abroad, we were unsure how our beloved, traditional furniture - collected from many different countries and homes over decades - would fit into a downsized, more contemporary space. But working with Lara was nothing short of transformative. She not only honored the history and sentiment behind each piece, but managed to curate and position them in a way that felt new and fresh. Her ability to blend old-world charm with modern sensibility and efficiency made our “empty-nester-nest” feel both warm and fresh at the same time. Pieces we’ve had for years suddenly were able to come out of storage and had new life and purpose - and we couldn’t be more delighted with the result!"
